We have recently joined forces with a company called NightTenders, and this allows us to forward any calls that come in overnight or early in the morning.
This service will handle all emergency issues such as a broken pipe or an air conditioning outage or any other important problems. When a tenant calls with a problem, that call will go to a call center where a live person answers the call and monitors the situation. They can diagnose the issue and take immediate action if necessary. Anything that might be going wrong gets immediate attention.
For example, let’s say a pipe bursts at your rental property at 2:00 a.m. on a Sunday. There aren’t a lot of people or professional companies awake at that hour. However, our partners NightTenders are awake and ready to take care of business. They will take the tenant’s incoming phone call. Our emergency after hours repair line is still the same: 210-497-8686. The call will simply get directed to NightTenders for immediate handling. Their ability to take charge of the situation will help us get a plumber out to the property for any emergency repairs.
Maintenance Capability Gives Peace of Mind
This availability will also give people peace of mind, knowing they can call somebody and reach someone who can get to work right away. On important maintenance issues, we always want to minimize losses for homeowners. This is a free service we off to all of our property owners. One thing that’s important to understand is that not a lot of property management companies are able to offer you something like this. It’s a unique capability. Another property manager might claim they have 24 hour maintenance service, but that usually means that a repair call is going to someone’s cell phone. It’s hard to be sure someone is paying attention at 2:00 a.m. and it’s likely the problem will ultimately have to wait until morning, during regular business hours.
